Content Creator / Social Media Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and trend-savvy Content Creator / Social Media Manager to help grow Hochela's online presence and strengthen our brand.

In this role, you will create compelling content that educates, entertains, and engages our audience while showcasing how Hochela is transforming the rental experience through Artificial Intelligence.

You will work closely with the Marketing Team, Product Team, and Leadership to develop creative campaigns that increase brand awareness, grow our community, and drive user acquisition across our digital platforms.

What We're Looking For

● Passion for content creation, storytelling, and building engaging online communities.

● Experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

● Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.

● Excellent photography, videography, and short-form video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.





● Ability to create relatable, authentic, and engaging content that resonates with students, renters, landlords, and young professionals.

● Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write compelling captions, scripts, and promotional content.

● Creative mindset with an eye for branding, design, and visual storytelling.

● Ability to analyze content performance and use insights to improve engagement and reach.

● Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

● Passion for technology, startups, Artificial Intelligence, and solving real-world housing challenges.

What You'll Be Doing

● Create engaging and original content that promotes the Hochela brand, products, and mission.

● Develop videos, reels, graphics, and social media posts that increase brand awareness and audience engagement.

● Manage Hochela's social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, and other emerging channels.

● Plan, schedule, and publish content using a structured content calendar.

● Stay ahead of social media trends and identify opportunities to create timely and relevant content.

● Collaborate with the Marketing Team to execute campaigns that drive user growth, partnerships, and community engagement.





● Work closely with the Product Team to showcase new features, product updates, and success stories.

● Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and community discussions to strengthen Hochela's online presence.

● Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.

● Capture behind-the-scenes moments, team activities, product demonstrations, and customer stories to build an authentic brand.

● Ensure Hochela maintains a consistent, professional, and active presence across all digital platforms.

● Contribute creative ideas that help position Hochela as one of Canada's leading AI-powered rental technology startups.
