Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and presentation standards

- Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations during busy periods

- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times

- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety regulations

- Support meal preparation by organizing ingredients and assisting kitchen staff as needed

Skills

- Proven experience in restaurants

- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry

- Ability to assist in food preparation and cooking processes efficiently under pressure

- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and meal assembly techniques

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members

- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and quality standards

- Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing positively to team goals

- Must be English or French
