Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our Japanese cuisine team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the kitchen and a strong understanding of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain stock.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.

Requirements





- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a must.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and providing excellent service in the food industry.

Sushi Chef Job Responsibilities and Duties

- Create sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes according to recipes and customer requests
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Ensure that the kitchen area is clean and organized
- Order and maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment

Job Types: Full time, Part-time Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
