Canstore Rentals Ltd. is recruiting an experienced CPA with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) or Microsoft Navision experience to join our Financial Services team for a six-month contract.
The successful candidate will have worked extensively in a Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC environment or have been directly involved in a Business Central ERP implementation. This practical systems experience, combined with a strong accounting background, will be important to succeeding in the role.
This is a hands-on position for an experienced financial professional who enjoys working as part of a team and is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities. The role requires someone who is highly service-oriented, adaptable, and willing to contribute wherever their experience can help strengthen the effectiveness of the Financial Services team.
The position reports to the Head of Finance.
The Role
As a member of the Financial Services team, you will provide accounting and financial support across a range of activities. Depending on priorities, assignments may include supporting full-cycle accounting processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities, process improvement, and projects involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
You will also bring an experienced perspective to existing financial processes and help identify practical opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and the effective use of Business Central.
This position will suit someone who is comfortable moving between detailed accounting work, systems and process issues, and broader financial responsibilities as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- - CPA designation.
- - Strong working experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Or Microsoft Navision.
- - Previous experience working in a Business Central environment and/or participating directly in a Business Central ERP implementation.
- - Experience as a Controller or in a comparable senior accounting role with full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
- - Strong understanding of accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- - Strong knowledge of business processes and financial best practices.
- - Ability to understand how accounting systems and business processes work together.
- - A self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- - Ability to collaborate effectively with accounting, finance, and other staff.
- - A willingness to be versatile and take on a wide variety of assignments based on the needs of the Financial Services team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to providing superior internal customer service.

You should be comfortable working in a changing environment, identifying what needs to be done, and contributing wherever your skills and experience can add value.
Just as importantly, you will bring a collaborative and service-oriented approach to the role. You will work effectively with others, communicate clearly, and be willing to support both day-to-day financial activities and specific projects as priorities evolve.
This is an excellent six-month opportunity for an experienced CPA who enjoys hands-on financial work, understands Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and wants to make a meaningful contribution as part of a financial services team.
Pay: $83,000.00-$104,000.00 per year
