Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our supply chain network. The ideal candidate will manage freight movements, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely deliveries. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where strong communication, data entry, and analysis skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using transportation management systems such as SyteLine and AS400.

- Monitor and track shipments through multi-line phone systems and other communication channels to ensure on-time delivery.

- Manage shipping & receiving processes, including documentation, data entry, and record keeping.

- Communicate with carriers, drivers, clients, and internal teams via phone etiquette and professional communication skills.

- Analyze logistics data to optimize routes, improve efficiency, and resolve any issues related to freight or supply chain disruptions.

- Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery statuses, and related documentation.

- Collaborate with 3PL providers to coordinate third-party logistics services as needed.





- Assist in problem-solving related to freight delays or discrepancies through analysis skills and proactive communication.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with transportation management systems such as SyteLine or AS400 is preferred.

- Strong data entry skills with high typing accuracy and proficiency in multi-line phone systems.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with professional phone etiquette.

- Knowledge of supply chain processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and freight management.

- Ability to analyze logistical data effectively to identify issues and implement solutions.

- Familiarity with 3PL operations and freight industry standards is a plus.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.

- Prior experience in transportation coordination or dispatching roles is preferred but not required. This position provides an engaging opportunity for candidates who excel in logistics coordination, communication, and data management within a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
