Join our dedicated team as a Cook, delivering nutritious meals in a Long Term Care setting. Your culinary skills will play a crucial role in supporting resident wellbeing and safety. Reporting to the Dietary Supervisor, the Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals in accordance with established therapeutic menus. This position is ideal for an experienced culinary professional with a strong focus on nutrition for seniors.

Your role involves supervising Dietary Aides, ensuring that health regulations are adhered to, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure proper meal preparation and portion control
- Provide direction to Dietary Aides during meal service
- Record production amounts and manage food inventory




- Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness standards
- Support dietary education and special diet preparation Requirements:
- At least two years of cooking experience in related settings
- Knowledge of nutritional standards for geriatric care
- Valid Safety Handlers Certificate needed
- Familiarity with dietary aids and equipment operation
- Good leadership and communication abilities Utilize your culinary talents to enhance the dining experience, ensuring secure and healthy meals for our residents.
