Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Custodian/Maintenance Associate to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and overall functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks to ensure a well-organized and efficient environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in facility management and operational support within a dynamic organization.

Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all washrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked and presentable at all times
- Empty garbage and recycling bins throughout the office and warehouse
- Clean and maintain kitchens, break areas, appliances, fridges, and common spaces
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop office floors and high-traffic areas
- Perform light and deep cleaning of office and warehouse spaces, including operating a ride-on floor scrubber
- Organize and maintain supply storage areas
- Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance issues
- Track inventory of cleaning supplies, paper products, snacks, and consumables
- Anticipate restocking needs and coordinate supply orders to ensure essential workplace items are always available

Requirements

- Previous experience in facilities, cleaning, or maintenance roles
- Experience operating a ride-on floor scrubber (or similar floor equipment)
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Highly reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- Experience tracking inventory and coordinating supply restocking is an asset
- Physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout the shift
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, secure, and professional environment




- Reliable transportation and the ability to respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs when necessary. This role is vital in ensuring our facilities operate smoothly and safely, contributing directly to a positive environment for staff and visitors alike
