- Liquor Store Sales Associate

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Liquor Store Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions, maintaining store presentation, and supporting day-to-day retail operations. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide courteous, professional service
- Assist customers with product selection and general inquiries
- Accurately process cash, debit, and credit card transactions using the point-of-sale system
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with applicable liquor laws and store policies
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays while maintaining proper product organization
- Receive, check, and organize incoming inventory and deliveries
- Monitor stock levels and report inventory requirements to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
- Assist with product pricing, merchandising, and promotional displays
- Follow loss-prevention, security, and cash-handling procedures
- Ensure store policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements are consistently followed
- Perform other duties as required to support store operations

Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in retail, liquor sales,



convenience stores, grocery stores, or customer service is preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, and punctual
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to remain organized during busy periods
- Physically able to stock products and safely lift and move cases as required
- Must meet all legal requirements for employment in a liquor retail store
- Serving It Right certification is required or must be obtained as required by provincial regulations

Schedule Candidates should have flexibility to work a combination of:
- Day and evening shifts
- Weekends
- Statutory holidays, when required

Both full-time and part-time applicants may be considered depending on availability and operational requirements.
