We are a fast-paced, locally-owned print shop in Nanaimo dedicated to providing top-quality print products and outstanding service to our community. From business cards and vinyl banners to custom marketing materials, we bring our clients' ideas to life.

The Role

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual role: handling front-counter customer service and prepping or creating basic graphic designs for print. This is an entry-level position—perfect for a recent graphic design graduate or an creative individual eager to learn the commercial print industry from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service: Greet walk-in clients, answer phone inquiries, respond to emails, and take print orders accurately.
- Graphic Design & Prepress: Review client artwork for print readiness (checking bleeds, resolution, and color modes), make minor layout edits, and design basic collateral (flyers, business cards, signage).
- Production Support: Operate digital print equipment, handle basic finishing work (cutting, folding, binding), and prepare orders for customer pickup.
- Order Management: Generate quotes, process payments,



and track print jobs from intake to delivery.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent time management and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of print design principles (CMYK vs. RGB, resolution, vector vs. raster) is a strong asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal education/training in Graphic Design or Digital Media is preferred.
