Customer Service Representative

Monday to Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM
Afterhours coverage on rotation required-- Nights and weekends
Job Overview The Customer Service Representative will engage with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. This individual will collaborate closely with the operations and accounting teams to ensure a seamless experience. As a key point of contact, the Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in delivering a positive customer journey from order placement to delivery, supporting our commitment to excellence and satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Respond to incoming calls in a courteous and timely manner, providing assistance or directing inquiries as needed.
- Assisting customers by answering questions,
and providing additional information related to the products, services provided and promote our product offering when appropriate during customer interactions.
- Communicating with customers regarding their order status and any updates via phone call or email.
- Scheduling appointments for customers of when their orders will be picked, shipped and delivered.
- Reviewing orders for accuracy
- Preparing customer invoices, processing customer payments and trip pricing for our drivers.
- Maintaining records of customer interactions in our "OnTime" system. This includes but is not limited to customer notes, quotes, orders, etc.
- Assisting in the front desk duties as and when required.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a variety of people at all levels of the organization. This includes but is not limited to; telephone communication, listening skills, oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills and decision-making skills.
- A high level of initiative and self-motivation along with a willingness to learn new skills within the organization as needed by management.
- Aptitude for problem solving in a fast-paced setting with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail as well as an ability to work under pressure in a high-volume production environment where quality is a top priority.
Certifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, and Word.
