In this vital role, you'll be instrumental in measuring and enhancing the effectiveness of technology controls, helping to safeguard critical assets and ensure compliance across the organization.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

- Over 10 years of experience in information security and/or information technology, with at least 5 years of hands-on expertise in cybersecurity control implementation.
- Proven ability to define and develop metrics and Key Control Indicators that accurately reflect control implementation and operational success.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset, capable of understanding complex processes and translating them into measurable metrics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and thriving under tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with decision-making skills driven by both quantitative data and qualitative insights.
- Sound knowledge of various domains of technology control and cybersecurity, including identity and access management, data security, network security, and application security.
- Familiarity with public cloud technologies and security concepts, tools, and incident response strategies.
- Knowledge of security logging, monitoring, and incident response protocols.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, showcasing your commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, document, and maintain control and risk metrics related to technology controls by engaging with various stakeholders, understanding processes, and analyzing data for accurate measurement.




- Collaborate with the Technology Policy team to ensure control measurement and metric requirements are incorporated into policy design and updates.
- Partner with Metric consumers and other teams to establish and implement reporting frameworks that meet different stakeholder needs.
- Work closely with data acquisition, tooling, and analytics teams to facilitate the successful implementation of metrics and reporting tools.
- Monitor and report on the operational effectiveness and compliance status of technology controls, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the design and refinement of control monitoring processes and tools to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support incident response and security monitoring efforts by analyzing control metrics and security logs.
- Stay informed about evolving cybersecurity threats and adjust control metrics and strategies accordingly.

Nice To Have Skills

- Experience working closely with policy teams to influence security policy design and updates.
- Proficiency with data acquisition, tooling, and reporting frameworks to support metrics development and visualization.
- Advanced understanding of security monitoring tools and incident management processes.

Preferred Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- At least 10 years in the cybersecurity or IT sector, with a demonstrated track record of implementing controls and metrics in complex environments.
