Location: Montreal, QC

Employment Type: Contract, 12 months to start

Work arrangement : Initial 3 months -5 days onsite, after that 3 days from office, 2 days remote

We are currently seeking a Data Administrator to join a financial services team supporting client and counterparty data across multiple operational and trading systems.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a banking operations, securities settlement, static data, client data, or back-office background who enjoys working with data, systems, reconciliations, and multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and maintain client/counterparty information across internal applications and trading systems
- Review daily reconciliations and investigate data discrepancies between systems
- Support client onboarding and maintain electronic platform access
- Process client address and account information updates
- Close inactive client files and accounts in downstream systems
- Monitor and maintain required client documentation and certifications
- Obtain and validate tax certifications, including W-8 and W-9 forms
- Support the collection and processing of Prime Brokerage documentation
- Set up and maintain USD Fed Wire payment templates
- Ensure documentation is properly maintained and available for verification
- Work closely with KYC, Compliance, Tax, Front Office,



Sales/Relationship Management and Operations teams

Requirements

- University degree
- 2+ years of experience within a financial institution
- Experience in Back Office, Securities Operations, Trade Settlement, Static Data, Client Data or related banking operations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under time pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team

Nice to Have

- Experience with KYC / client onboarding
- Knowledge of tax certifications such as W-8/W-9
- Experience with banking/trading or payment systems
- Experience with reconciliations and data validation
