Job Title: Data & AI Solution Architect Data Modelling & Conversational AI Location: Canada

About The Role We are seeking experienced Data & AI Solution Architects to support the design of enterprise data models and conversational AI architecture for a contemporary data platform.

Working within the Enterprise Architecture team, you will design enterprise data modelling and conversational AI architectures that enable trusted data and AI analytics across the organization. The primary focus will be on reusable data modelling standards, solution architecture patterns, semantic engineering frameworks, and conversational AI capabilities using Databricks.

You will guide delivery teams in adopting enterprise architecture standards and best practices to deliver trusted, governed, and scalable data products. You will also translate enterprise architecture standards into solution designs, reusable patterns, and technical guidance for HUB & SPOKE teams.

What You'll Do

- Design solution architectures for up-to-date data and AI platforms on Databricks.
- Define and promote enterprise standards for data products, data modelling, Medallion Architecture, dbt, Unity Catalog, and data engineering.
- Create reusable architecture patterns, reference designs, and implementation guidance for HUB & SPOKE teams.
- Design semantic models and architecture patterns that enable trusted analytics and conversational AI capabilities.
- Support the development of scalable, governed, and reusable data products aligned with enterprise standards.
- Lead architecture reviews, solution design workshops,



office hours, and technical coaching sessions.
- Partner with data engineering, analytics, AI, and enterprise architecture teams to define scalable solutions.
- Establish data modelling and semantic engineering frameworks to support self-service analytics.
- Provide technical guidance on modern data platform architecture, governance, and best practices.
- Support teams in adopting Databricks-based solutions and enterprise architecture standards.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or modern cloud data platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, dbt, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python.
- Deep understanding of dimensional modelling, semantic modelling, Medallion Architecture, and data product design.
- Experience designing enterprise data architectures and reusable solution patterns.
- Strong knowledge of modern data engineering and analytics architectures.
- Experience designing trusted, governed, scalable, and self-service data platforms.
- Knowledge of semantic layers and architectures supporting conversational AI and AI-driven analytics.
- Ability to translate business and enterprise architecture requirements into practical technical designs.
- Experience leading architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical discussions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide cross-functional delivery teams.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership across multiple teams and initiatives.
