Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist with robust expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data migration, master data management, data cleansing, and conversion activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing, mapping, cleansing, converting, and migrating master and transactional data while supporting enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical developers to ensure accurate and efficient data migration and governance.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA master data table and field mapping, including check table values and custom versus standard fields, to legacy data structures across multiple SAP modules.
- Conduct transactional data mapping activities where required, ensuring consistency and integrity between legacy and target systems.
- Create and maintain SAP transactions, Fiori tiles, and associated business process flows.
- Deliver hands-on knowledge transfer sessions on SAP transaction management, tile maintenance, and related business processes.
- Assess and document SAP table and field dependencies, including both custom and standard objects, and analyze their impact on data migration sequencing.
- Develop detailed Conversion Functional Specifications covering business requirements, field mappings, check tables, conversion rules, validation criteria, and unit testing requirements.
- Collaborate with ABAP Developers in the creation of Technical Specifications and support development activities.
- Provide assessments, recommendations, and support for data migration, data quality, and data cleansing initiatives.
- Support subject matter experts and business stakeholders with data validation, remediation, and migration planning activities.
- Assist in the development of Business Process Procedures (BPPs), user guides,



and training materials related to master data creation and maintenance.
- Support the development and testing of data conversion programs using ABAP, LSMW, and other SAP migration tools.
- Provide sample test data, participate in unit testing, troubleshoot defects, and support resolution activities.
- Execute and support data cutover activities for Quality Assurance (QA) and Production environments.
- Develop detailed data migration and cutover plans, including dependency identification and execution sequencing.
- Provide troubleshooting and remediation support for both master and transactional data throughout migration and cutover phases.
- Assess, plan, and support the use of SAP Information Steward, SAP Data Services, and other data governance and quality management tools.
- Deliver ongoing knowledge transfer through documentation, presentations, workshops, and hands-on training sessions.

Required Qualifications

- Strong experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data migration and master data management.
- Expertise in SAP table structures, field relationships, and cross-module data dependencies.
- Experience creating Conversion Functional Specifications and supporting Technical Specification development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward, LSMW, and ABAP-based data conversion tools.
- Strong understanding of SAP data migration methodologies, data quality, and data governance principles.
- Experience supporting data cutover planning and execution for large-scale SAP implementations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with enterprise SAP transformation or migration projects.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori transactions and business process documentation.
- Experience developing training materials and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
- Familiarity with data cleansing, data profiling, and data governance frameworks.
