The Support and Development Center provide services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and / or international mining operations in a variety of areas, including administration, financial services, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction as well as technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation).

Your Next Challenge

Reporting to the Database General Supervisor, you will be part of the Supply Chain department.



You will ensure that objectives are met while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, the health and safety code of conduct, and the environment. The role consists of performing all aspects of cataloguing and quoting for parts in the Company’s Item Master catalog.

- Request price and information for new stocking request for new inventory items;
- Responsible for the disciplined collection, storage, processing, formatting and presentation of item master information within the company’s ERP system;
- Follow the Master Data Management standards and set up parts in a explicit and precise descriptive manner with appropriate classifications, part numbers, specifications and other data elements that enables the Company to effectively manage inventory and conduct sourcing exercises;
- Manage a disciplined catalogue management system;
- Ensure catalogue information is easily accessible and available to all users requiring it to perform their work activities;
- Utilize enhanced analytical tools to assist with catalogue cleansing and generate regular reports on catalogue improvement initiative programs;
- Provide a mechanism that involves the disciplined identification of material used in the company’s operations so that it can be located, sorted and reviewed by users and by management;




- Ensures that all inventory forms are signed and completed according to the procedures;
- Follow the P2P process when preparing quotations;
- Follow the IBA process if applicable;
- Prepare RFQs and analysis of the results, and make recommendations;
- Ensure KPI targets are met.

What You Need To Succeed

- Bachelor’s degree, Business, Finance, Administration, Supply Chain Diploma, and/or appropriate work experience;
- Experience in an industrial setting or heavy industry (mining experience is an asset);
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in procurement, expediting, logistics, or a related role is preferred;
- Cultural awareness and understanding of work in Indigenous communities are an asset;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Must have strong interpersonal, communication and team-building skills;
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint;
- Fluency (both written and spoken) in English is a requirement. The Ability to speak and write French is considered an asset;
- Be meticulous and maintain a strong focus on quality

Your Work Schedule

- Schedule: 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Possibility of a 5-2/4-3 schedule in accordance with regional policy;
- Workplace: Hybrid work schedule, working 2 days a week from an Agnico Eagle office (Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Sudbury, Rouyn-Noranda, North Bay, Mirabel, Toronto, Val-d’Or) and 3 days working remotely
- Occasional travel, representing approximately 10% of the time, to other Agnico Eagle offices or mine sites.
