We are looking for a Data Scientist to analyse energy consumption data and develop predictive models that support our grid balancing services. This role involves extracting insights from complex datasets and translating them into actionable recommendations. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing energy use and improving system reliability.

Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from energy systems and sensors
- Develop and maintain predictive models for energy demand and supply forecasting
- Analyse data to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in energy consumption
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data-driven solutions into operations
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders




- Support the design of experiments and A/B testing for recent algorithms
- Document methodologies and maintain data quality standards

Requirements
- Experience with data analysis and modelling using Python or R
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
- Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred

Pay: $65,659.55-$134,859.82 per year
