Build the Systems Behind Better Decisions

RebalanceMD is a clinician-led, technology-enabled specialty care organization focused on improving patient access and delivering connected, patient-centred care.

We’re looking for someone smart, curious, and motivated to build.

This role owns the reporting and data that help our teams understand how the organization is performing today, while also building the systems, automations, and processes that make that work easier, faster, and more reliable tomorrow.

You will inherit real work that matters. Monthly KPIs, leadership and board reporting, operational dashboards, performance analysis, and questions from across the business all need to keep moving.

But we do not want someone whose job becomes manually producing the same reports forever.

We want someone who looks at that work and starts asking:

Why does this take so long? Why is this manual? Where is this data coming from? How could this run automatically? What should happen when the number changes?

Then builds the answer.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work across data, reporting, operations, systems, and automation.

That includes

- Own and continuously improve recurring KPI, leadership, and operational reporting.
- Build dashboards and reporting that help us understand access, capacity, clinic performance, staffing, revenue, patient experience, and other key areas of the business.
- Investigate data problems, discrepancies, and unexpected results.
- Work with teams to define useful metrics and understand what the data is actually telling us.
- Turn manual reporting into reliable, automated reporting wherever possible.
- Build workflows, alerts, integrations, and automations that help work happen without someone constantly chasing it.

- Connect information across systems and reduce repetitive data entry and manual movement of information.
- Understand operational processes and redesign them when there is a better way.
- Build practical tools that make work easier for teams.
- Document what you build so it can be understood, maintained, and improved.
- Keep experimenting with better tools and approaches as our needs evolve.

You may work with Power BI, SQL, Excel, Power Automate, SharePoint, APIs, Python, Microsoft Fabric, AI tools, or something we have not started using yet. The tool matters less than your ability to figure out the problem and build a good solution.

Who We’re Looking For

There is no perfect background for this role.

You might already work in data, operations, technology, engineering, finance, healthcare, or analytics.

You might have years of experience.

You might be earlier in your career but have spent a lot of time teaching yourself, experimenting, and building things.

We care much more about how you think and what you can learn than the number of years on your resume.

You are probably someone who:

- Is naturally curious about how things work.
- Likes solving messy problems.
- Teaches yourself current tools when you need them.
- Gets annoyed by repetitive manual work.
- Uses data to challenge assumptions.
- Is willing to dig until you understand why something is happening.
- Builds, tests, learns, and improves.

- Takes ownership when something is unclear or broken.
- Can explain complicated things clearly.
- Wants to see the impact of what you build.

Healthcare experience is not required. A specific degree is not required.

Experience with every tool listed above is not required.

Curiosity, judgment, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly are.

What Success Looks Like

You should be able to look back every few months and see clear evidence that things are working better because of what you built.

Reports that used to take hours now run automatically.

Teams can access information without waiting for someone to pull it.

Data problems are identified earlier.

Important exceptions trigger action instead of sitting inside a dashboard.

Processes are simpler.

Manual work disappears.

And the organization spends less time producing information and more time using it.
