Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Guest Services Agent will work closely with their team to provide courteous and professional service to guests during their stay.
What you will be doing as a Guest Service Agent:
- Create a positive guest experience by providing courteous and professional service to guests who are checking in or out of the facility while offering exceptional service to guest during their stay;
- Processing all guest check-ins, check-outs, and requests and secure payment for all guestrooms and amenities;
- Securing payment for all guestrooms and amenities and process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change;
- Communicating guests’ needs to all appropriate departments;
- Coordinating with housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns;
- Running and checking daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports;
- Answering, recording, and processing all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met to guests' satisfaction;
- Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a front-line customer service environment;
- Has previous Guest Experience / Front Desk experience is a solid asset;
- Has a positive attitude with a passion for delivering the highest level of customer service;
- A Tourism & Hospitality Diploma or Business Administration Diploma is considered an asset;
- Motivated, high performance team player;
- Organized with great attention to detail;
- Robust work ethic;
- Ability to excel in a face paced environment;
- Must possess critical thinking skills to resolve and defuse guest concerns and ensure the appropriate follow up tactfully and quickly;
- Outstanding guest service skills;
- Has a positive attitude with a passion for delivering the highest level of customer service.
