Atlantic Implants and Periodontics is looking for a Level 2 Dental Assistant.

Location: Dieppe, NB

Position Type: Full-Time (Monday-Thursday 8-4 with occasional Fridays)

We are a patient-focused, periodontal specialty practice seeking a motivated and compassionate Level II Dental Assistant to join our team. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a collaborative workplace, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Level II Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our periodontist during a variety of periodontal and implant procedures. Our practice is committed to providing a positive patient experience and maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.

Responsibilities

- Assist the periodontist during surgeries.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, sterile clinical environment.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments in accordance with infection prevention and control standards.
- Take and process digital radiographs.
- Prepare patients for treatment and provide post-operative instructions.
- Record clinical notes and maintain accurate patient records.
- Manage inventory and clinical supplies.




- Candidate will receive training for use of our dental technologies (cone beam CT scan, Digital Intraoral scanner, 3D Printer etc.)

Qualifications

- Certified Level II Dental Assistant eligible to work in Canada.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience in periodontics, oral surgery, or implant dentistry is an asset but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Bilingual is an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to outstanding patient care.
