Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans to promote long-term dental health.
- Assist in diagnosing oral health issues by reviewing patient histories and symptoms with the dentist.
- Manage patient records accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and instructions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to streamline office operations, ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Requirement
- Current registration with BCCOHP as a Dental Hygienist
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with patients of all ages.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving our diverse community effectively.
