We are expanding our presence into the Canadian market and are looking for a Development Director to lead our growth strategy from Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the direction of a growing international consultancy.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for business development? We are seeking an experienced and driven Development Director to spearhead our expansion into Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building key relationships, and driving revenue growth.

You will work closely with the UK leadership team to align our Canadian strategy with the company's overall vision. This is a hybrid role, offering a balance of office collaboration and remote flexibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Canadian market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions
- Collaborate with the UK leadership team to align strategy and share market insights
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth




- Manage and mentor a growing team of business development professionals

WHAT YOU BRING

- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Several years of experience in business development, sales, or a related leadership role
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building client relationships
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaboratively in the office
- Reliable high-speed internet for remote work days
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
