Elevate municipal finance through strategic insights as a Development Finance Advisor with the City of Brampton. This role focuses on development charge frameworks and compliance with legislative requirements. In this full-time position, you will report to the Manager of Capital and Development Finance.

You’ll contribute to developing the City’s Development Charges By-law, manage various financial processes, and ensure the integration of provincial regulations within municipal strategies. Collaboration with external partners will play a key role in shaping effective public policies. Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and review financial policies and agreements
- Liaise with development community to address finance queries




- Conduct financial analysis and scenario modeling
- Support monitoring of regulatory trends in municipal finance
- Prepare and present policy recommendations to leadership Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or Public Administration required
- At least 3 years’ experience in public policy
- Robust grasp of development finance legislation
- Excellent analytical and presentation capabilities
