Position Overview The key expectation for this role is simple yet crucial:
Every component leaving your department must be clean, organized, and prepared with care. Our customers trust us for premium-quality engines, and we rely on our team to help maintain that commitment to excellence. We will ask you a key word to check your attention to details.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble diesel engine cores and remove all components using hand and power tools.
- Always Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Clean, sort, and organize diesel engine cores and components on shelves.
- Inspect and analyze engines to determine rebuild eligibility under supervision.
- Store cleaned and qualified parts in designated areas.
- Organize engine blocks on pallets.
- Clean and prepare components for assembly.
- Participate in weekly deep cleaning of the core storage area.
- Safely lift to 80 lbs using proper techniques or equipment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- The keyword to be eligible for this position is clean as you go.
- Stand for the entire duration of the shift.
Qualifications & Experience
- Mechanical experience of any kind (automotive, industrial, engine-related, etc.).
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
- Good working knowledge of automotive parts.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs safely.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Safe handling of heavy and rotating components.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
