Are you a detail-oriented digital asset enthusiast ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced eCommerce environment? We’re seeking a specialist to join our client’s digital operations team. In this pivotal contract role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow of product imagery, directly contributing to the visual appeal and accuracy of online product listings across multiple prominent brands.
You’ll be at the cutting edge, validating AI-generated metadata and optimizing digital workflows, directly shaping how millions of customers discover and engage with products online.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the efficient processing of digital assets across various retail brands, utilizing established Digital Asset Management workflows.
- Rigorously apply, review, and update metadata and asset tags, ensuring adherence to established processes.
- Critically review AI-generated metadata, validating the accuracy of image attributes and classifications.
- Manually correct metadata when automated tagging requires precise adjustments.
- Facilitate the smooth movement of validated assets through established workflows for downstream digital and eCommerce applications.
- Proactively manage assigned asset requests, ensuring timely completion within established service-level agreements.
- Monitor and respond to assigned requests from a shared team inbox, providing clear and concise communication.
- Troubleshoot asset and metadata issues, effectively communicating with internal partners when clarification is needed to resolve challenges.
- Perform meticulous quality checks to ensure all digital assets are accurately categorized and processed.
- Forge strong collaborations with cross-functional teams, including digital operations, merchandising, marketing, product content, and vendors.
- Rapidly learn and effectively operate within client-specific Digital Asset Management and content systems.
What You’ll Bring
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in a Digital Asset Management environment or a closely related digital content role.
- Practical experience tagging digital assets and applying, updating, or validating metadata.
- Demonstrated experience working with digital imagery and a solid understanding of common digital asset types.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the proven ability to maintain accuracy while processing a high volume of work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling efficient handling of multiple tasks.
- A keen ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and adapt to evolving workflows.
- A proactive communication style, comfortable asking questions and raising issues for clarity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Robust critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex digital asset challenges.
- The capability to independently manage assigned work effectively once trained.

- Experience with AI-assisted or automated metadata tagging.
- Prior experience in eCommerce, retail, product content,
or digital catalog management.
- Familiarity with taxonomy or structured product/content data.
- Experience performing metadata or digital asset quality assurance.
