New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Senior Digital Enablement Consultant to support the design, development, and implementation of a recent Digital Enablement capability for a large post-secondary institution. This role will provide leadership, standards, governance, and hands-on support for the use of Microsoft Digital Platform technologies, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot, and related automation tools. The successful candidate will work with project stakeholders, senior leaders, technical teams, faculties, and administrative units to establish a sustainable digital enablement model that supports secure, scalable, self-service innovation and high-priority digital process automation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of a new Digital Enablement practice.

- Develop a Digital Enablement strategy and roadmap to guide institutional adoption of digital automation and Microsoft platform capabilities.

- Define and document an operating model for the Digital Enablement function.

- Develop a service offerings catalogue for digital enablement, automation, low-code, and related advisory services.

- Establish a governance framework and decision-making structure for digital solutions, citizen development, automation initiatives, and AI-enabled technologies.

- Develop intake, assessment, and prioritization processes for digital solutions and automation opportunities.

- Create Microsoft 365 digital automation standards, reference architectures, guardrails, and best practices.

- Develop a citizen developer framework, including governance, enablement, support, and risk controls.

- Develop Copilot and agent governance guidelines to support responsible, secure, and scalable use of AI-enabled productivity technologies.

- Conduct a Digital Enablement maturity assessment and provide recommendations for capability improvement.

- Develop a community of practice model to support knowledge sharing, adoption, and sustainable digital enablement across faculties and units.

- Develop training, adoption, and knowledge transfer plans to enable self-service innovation and long-term organizational capability.





- Support transition-to-operations planning for the permanent Digital Enablement team.

- Lead and facilitate workshops with project teams, stakeholders, and senior executives.

- Engage diverse business and technical stakeholders to build consensus, resolve issues, and influence senior leadership without direct authority.

- Perform business process analysis, process mapping, workflow optimization, automation opportunity assessments, and value realization planning.

- Work with Privacy, Information Security, and other governance stakeholders to ensure digital enablement solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with institutional requirements.

- Provide weekly status reports outlining completed tasks, upcoming work, estimated effort to complete, risks, issues, and backlog items.

- Submit weekly timesheets and support project tracking, reporting, and delivery management activities.

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant discipline.

- Certification in business analysis, such as ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, or PMI-PBA, or certification in project management such as PMP or PRINCE2.

- Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert certification, Microsoft Certified Copilot for Microsoft 365 certification, or equivalent certification.

- 10+ years of experience leading digital transformation or business process modernization initiatives within complex organizations.

- 5+ years of experience with enterprise automation and value realization.

- 5+ years of experience establishing or maturing Digital Enablement, Automation, Low-Code, Innovation, or Centre of Excellence practices.

- 5+ years of experience developing communities of practice, training programs, adoption strategies, and knowledge transfer plans.

- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise standards,



reference architectures, guardrails, and best practices.

- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing governance frameworks for digital solutions, citizen development programs, automation initiatives, and AI-enabled technologies.

- Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Digital Platform, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot, and Copilot Agents.

- Strong business process analysis and process improvement expertise, including process mapping, workflow optimization, automation opportunity assessment, and value realization planning.

- Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder engagement across diverse business and technical groups.

- Demonstrated ability to build consensus and influence senior leadership without direct authority.

- Experience developing enterprise operating models, service offerings, governance models, and transition-to-operations plans.

- Strong facilitation skills with experience leading workshops and planning sessions with large, diverse stakeholder groups.

- Excellent interpersonal, listening, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, facilitation, written, verbal, and presentation skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

- Experience with diagramming tools such as Microsoft Visio.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a higher education environment.

- Experience working with a Privacy Officer and Information Security Officer.

- Experience working in a multi-union environment with several collective bargaining units.

- Experience supporting large post-secondary institutions in Canada.

- Experience implementing citizen developer programs and governance models.

- Experience establishing intake, prioritization, and portfolio management processes for digital solutions.
