Description Supply Chain Management under the AVP (Strategy, Enterprise and Commercial) is currently seeking a Full-time Limited Term Digital Enablement Specialist for approximately 1 year.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Process, Performance and Governance, the Digital Enablement Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of SCM's digital ecosystem, ensuring tools and platforms are intuitive, integrated, and aligned with business needs. The role leads the build, enhancement, and maintenance of websites, supplier-facing portals, and internal knowledge repositories, while supporting the transition from fragmented or legacy content to structured, accessible, and user-friendly digital environments.
Working closely with SCM teams, IT, and functional stakeholders, the Specialist ensures effective integration with enterprise systems such as ERP and eForms, improves digital workflows, and enhances connectivity across platforms. The role also supports content governance, usability standards, and ongoing optimization to ensure digital solutions are sustainable, scalable, and supportive of a modern, service-oriented SCM function.
Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):
- Following branding guidelines, design, build, and maintain SCM digital platforms, including public websites, intranet pages, supplier portals, and knowledge bases
- Support the teardown, restructuring, and rebuild of existing digital content to improve usability, accessibility, and alignment with SCM priorities
- Develop and implement user-friendly digital solutions that simplify access to procurement information, tools, and services
- Maintain and update digital assets to ensure content is current, accurate, and aligned with evolving business needs
- Support the integration and connectivity of digital platforms with enterprise systems such as ERP tools, eForms, and collaboration environments
- Assist in designing and implementing digital workflows to streamline procurement processes and reduce manual effort
- Work with technical and functional stakeholders to ensure systems and tools are aligned and effectively enable end-to-end processes
- Participate in testing, implementation, and optimization of digital tools and system enhancements
- Organize and structure digital content to enhance user experience, navigation, and accessibility across platforms
- Establish and maintain content standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across SCM digital channels
- Gather user feedback and usage insights to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Digital Media, Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain Management, Communications, or a related discipline is considered an asset. Equivalent practical experience in digital platform development, web content management, or systems coordination may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Coursework or certifications related to web development, user experience (UX), content management systems (CMS), or digital tools is considered an asset.
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of experience supporting digital platforms, websites, intranet environments, or related tools is required
- Experience building, updating, or maintaining websites, knowledge bases, or internal portals is required
- Experience coordinating or supporting digital initiatives involving multiple tools or systems (e.g., CMS, SharePoint, eForms, ERP integrations) is required
- Experience organizing, restructuring, or migrating digital content to improve usability and accessibility is required
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and implement digital solutions is required
- Experience with Procurement Systems or ERP Procurement implementation/ administration is considered and asset
- Exposure to user experience (UX), content design, or service design principles is considered an asset
- Experience supporting process digitization or workflow automation is considered an asset
- Experience in a complex organizational environment is considered an asset
- Strong digital and technical aptitude, with the ability to work across websites, intranet platforms, content management systems, and integrated tools
- Ability to organize and structure digital content to improve usability, accessibility, and user experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify gaps and implement practical digital solutions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to manage content, updates, and multiple workstreams concurrently
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (particularly SharePoint and Teams) and familiarity with web or content platforms
- Ability to support integration and connectivity across systems (e.g., eForms, ERP tools)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving digital environment while supporting structured and sustainable solutions
