Aperçu du poste Manager, Accounting Contract, 6 months, full-time Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager-Canada, the Senior Financial Accountant will primarily support the Canadian operations and beverage portfolio of KDP. This position will provide financial guidance to business management teams and provide P&L; and balance sheet accounting support within the Controller’s organization.
Responsibilities include the coordination and preparation of journal entries, support tax, external/SEC reporting requirements as well as reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Additional responsibilities include performing accounting of actual‑to‑budget and year‑over‑year performance and helping to provide direction in identifying value creating opportunities.
Responsabilités - Ensure that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with GAAP and also IFRS for International reporting requirements and the organization’s accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage accounting for FX Derivatives and Hedge accounting for KDP Canada operations (Hot and Cold KDP portfolio).
- Accounting of Sales, General and Administrative expenses, ensuring that trade and marketing expenses are appropriately accounted.
- Accounting ownership and management support of Broker Commissions, Royalty Income & Royalty Expense, Trade Marketing, Mark to Market transactions.
- Work closely developing robust business relationships and understanding of department interdependencies with AP, AR, Trade Marketing, Treasury, Finance, Sales, SGA Marketing, Accounting Controllership and other business department partners as needed.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Actively engage in process improvement, alignment and efficiencies throughout the Accounting Controllership team.
- Manage month end close and reporting activities and deadlines.
- Support Commercial Finance team on review and reporting on trade and marketing costs.
- Prepare reports as requested by Statistics Canada.
- Assist in preparation of reports/analyses required for tax purposes.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and year‑end financial reports/analyses required for SEC Reporting and IFRS reporting.
- Special projects and ad‑hoc requests as requested.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SAP experience a plus.
- CPA (completed or in process) or similar certification preferred but not required.
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) is strongly preferred.

Rémunération globale CAD$ 118 000.00 – 129 800.00 annually. Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility.
