- Operate and locate directional drilling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete underground utility installations and crossings.
- Read plans, follow drill paths, and maintain accurate bore alignment and depth.
- Perform utility locates, potholing/daylighting, and jobsite setup as required.
- Mix and maintain drilling fluids and monitor drilling conditions.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper daily inspections.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to job sites as required.
Requirements:
- Experience with directional drilling and/or locating preferred.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
- Safety-focused and reliable.
