Role Description

We are looking for a Director, Finance to lead our head office finance function. You will own the integrity of the consolidated numbers, run the annual audit and budget cycles, and produce the reporting that our Board and investors rely on.

Other key responsibilities include

- Operating company finance oversight
- Act as primary point of contact for lenders' and auditors' finance teams on technical and reporting matters
- Tax and advisor management
- Treasury management
- Automation of monthly closing procedures




- Ad hoc requests from OpCo teams to support operational improvements
- Support financial due diligence and integration for any add-on acquisitions

Qualifications

- CPA designation
- 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including multi-entity consolidation
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling
- Has built reporting for a Board, investors or a lender, and can speak to how it landed
- Experience with SAP Business One software
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences
- Cross-border Canada / U.S. experience
- Background in food or manufacturing sectors is an asset
