Lead Indigenous child and family services with Horelyu Dene Ts’edi Kue in Cold Lake, Alberta. We're seeking an experienced Director to foster culturally grounded programs and positive outcomes. As Director, Child & Family Services (DFNA), you will provide strategic and operational leadership to enhance service delivery.
Reporting to the CEO, your primary focus will be to improve community-centric services that respect Dene culture and values. The role demands an exceptional leader who can navigate complexity while building trusted relationships in the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership across DFNA programs and teams
- Collaborate with the CEO on strategic planning
- Lead workforce and succession planning initiatives
- Develop culturally responsive service models
- Ensure financial accountability and compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum seven years in Indigenous child services
- Degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW)
- Solid financial management experience
- Knowledge of CYFEA and Bill C-92
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
