Duties

- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, floors, and work surfaces, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team in maintaining smooth operations during busy service times.




- Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant or hotel dining area by helping with light cleaning duties when required.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet service deadlines while upholding a positive and energetic work environment.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools.
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting colleagues during high-volume periods.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
