Avani Asian Indian Bistro is a busy and vibrant upscale modern Indian and Hakka restaurant known for bold flavours, warm hospitality, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience. We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Dishwashers to join our kitchen team.

Position Overview The Dishwasher plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and supporting the team with basic cleaning and prep tasks to ensure a safe, organized, and sanitary environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, and surrounding workstations.
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
- Stack and store clean dishes neatly in designated locations.
- Assist with garbage and recycling removal as needed.
- Sweep and mop floors in dishwashing and kitchen areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.




- Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks when required.
- Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to maintain workflow during busy periods.

Qualifications

- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to cleanliness.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Available for day shifts.
