The Role

- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate the commercial dishwasher and wash items by hand when necessary.
- Organize and return clean items promptly to their appropriate places.
- Set up, maintain, close, and detail the dishwashing area.
- Keep kitchen workstations, floors, storage areas, and shared spaces clean and orderly.
- Assist with garbage, recycling, and general cleaning duties.
- Support the morning prep team with tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
- Replenish supplies and notify the kitchen team when items are running low.
- Follow established recipes, procedures,



and food-safety standards.
- Support the kitchen team wherever needed—our stewarding team is hands-on in the kitchen, not only at the sink.

Experience and Availability
- Previous dishwashing, kitchen prep, bakery, café, or restaurant experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation and commercial kitchen equipment is considered an asset.
- A hardworking, team-oriented, and coachable approach is essential.
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification is preferred but not required.
- Versatile availability, including weekends, is essential.
