Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold health standards
- Prepare fresh salads and ingredients according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service times
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and quality standards
- Organize and store clean items efficiently for quick access during service
- Support the overall cleanliness of the dining area by assisting with light duties as needed
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and food safety protocols
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, especially in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including basic food preparation and cooking skills
- Ability to handle food safely and responsibly in accordance with health regulations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues
