Graveyard Dispatcher (Chilliwack Office) & Backup Mobile Driver
Allegiance 1 Security & Traffic Control Ltd. is a growing security company based in Chilliwack, BC. We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and professional individual to join our team as a Graveyard Dispatcher and Mobile Driver fill in.
The Dispatch Position is an in-office position located in Chilliwack and is not a remote role.
Positions
Dispatch Responsibilities
- Monitor mobile patrol operations and guard activity throughout Chilliwack and Abbotsford
- Receive and document alarm calls and service requests
- Maintain communication with field personnel
- Track patrol completion times and check-ins
- Review and edit reports for accuracy and completeness
- Document incidents and alarm responses
- Update dispatch logs and operational records
- Provide professional customer service to clients and staff
- Assist with general overnight operational support as required
During quieter periods, the successful candidate will also need to conduct light cleaning/sanitizing and organizing duties, monitor cameras, create inventory lists, while remaining available to answer dispatch calls and respond to operational needs.
Mobile Security Role
On the days you are not on Dispatch, you will be training as a Mobile Driver to backfill in Mobile shifts that need to be covered for sick days, vacation days etc.
Qualifications
- Holds a valid BC Security Worker License (BST)
- Comfortable using Windows-based computers and learning new software platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Qualified communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of conducting regular foot patrols throughout the shift
What We're Looking For... The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and enjoys a role that combines office-based responsibilities with active security work. Previous experience in dispatch, security, customer service, administration, or emergency communications is considered an asset but is not required.
