About the Position

Axius Logistics is looking for an organized, reliable, and highly detail-oriented Transportation Dispatcher to join our team in Mississauga.

This is a hands-on operations position where you will help coordinate drivers, routes, deliveries, paperwork, and day-to-day transportation activities.

We are looking for someone who can stay organized when things get busy, communicate confidently with different people, and—most importantly—notice the small details and follow through until a task is completed.

Previous dispatch experience is an asset, but we also value the right attitude, strong computer skills, reliability, and willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

- Coordinate and monitor daily driver routes, deliveries, and pickups.
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day regarding schedules, delays, route changes, and other issues.
- Track delivery progress and follow up when something is delayed or incomplete.
- Help resolve unexpected issues such as delays, breakdowns, missed deliveries, and route changes.
- Communicate professionally with customers, warehouses, drivers, and other team members.
- Review and organize delivery paperwork and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, drivers, incidents, and operational updates.
- Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, emails, and other documents.
- Use dispatch, transportation, and other company software.
- Assist management with scheduling, planning, and other daily transportation operations.

Requirements

Must Have:

- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to learn and work with multiple computer programs.
- Ability to work on-site at our Mississauga location.
- Availability Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Nice to Have:

- Previous dispatch, transportation, logistics, customer service, or administrative experience.
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience.
- Experience with transportation or dispatch software.
- Post-secondary education or relevant training.
- Ability to speak more than one language.

Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Formal education is not required. Relevant education or training is considered an asset.
