About the Role

Just Ship It Logistics is looking for a motivated, organized, and highly communicative Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

We specialize in transportation and logistics, with a strong focus on flatbed, heavy haul, oversized equipment, machinery, and construction materials.

We believe in person-to-person service, proactive shipment updates, and taking ownership of every load from pickup through delivery.

Responsibilities

As a Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator, you will:

- Coordinate shipments from pickup through final delivery.
- Communicate directly with customers, carriers, and drivers.
- Track shipments throughout the day and provide customers with proactive updates.
- Confirm pickups, delivery appointments, ETAs, and shipment status.
- Source and communicate with qualified carriers when required.
- Coordinate flatbed, oversized, heavy haul, and specialized shipments.
- Collect and verify shipment information, including dimensions, weight, equipment requirements, pickup and delivery details.
- Assist with permits, routing, escorts, and other requirements for oversized shipments when applicable.
- Identify potential delays or problems before they become larger issues.
- Communicate problems to customers quickly and clearly, along with the proposed solution.
- Maintain accurate load information and documentation in our freight management system.
- Obtain PODs and required shipment documentation.
- Assist with quotes and incoming customer requests.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers.
- Escalate major service, pricing,



or operational issues when necessary.

- Is comfortable speaking with customers on the phone.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Understands that customer service is just as important as moving the freight.

Previous transportation, dispatch, brokerage, flatbed, or heavy-haul experience is an asset. What Success Looks Like A successful dispatcher at Just Ship It Logistics doesn't simply book a truck and wait for delivery.
