Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our supply chain network. The ideal candidate will manage freight schedules, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely deliveries. Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as SyteLine and AS400.

- Manage shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.

- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and clients via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating professional phone etiquette.

- Monitor supply chain operations, analyze freight data, and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays promptly.

- Maintain detailed records of shipments, delivery statuses, and related documentation for analysis and reporting purposes.

- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize transportation routes and freight management.

- Assist in troubleshooting logistical issues by analyzing data and providing effective solutions.





- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all dispatch activities.

Skills

- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), including SyteLine and AS400.

- Strong data entry skills with high typing accuracy and attention to detail.

- Excellent analysis skills to interpret freight data, shipping schedules, and supply chain metrics.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette.

- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and freight management processes.

- Familiarity with supply chain operations, 3PL logistics, and freight coordination is preferred.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting. Pay: $16.93-$29.64 per hour
