We are seeking an energetic and dependable Dog Van Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting dogs between our dog daycare and their home. Your enthusiasm for animals combined with your driving expertise will help us provide compassionate and efficient service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial van to transport dogs across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist with loading and unloading dogs, utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of animals during transit by following established handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions from pet owners or caregivers professionally and empathetically
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients
- Experience working with animals or in a pet care environment is advantageous but not required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; G Drivers license required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
