The Urban Puppy Shop, a dog specialty store and services facility, is seeking to hire a hardworking and physically fit individual to work within our dog walking services and shuttle operations. The Urban Puppy Shop has been credited by our clients for providing great care to their dogs, and as a member of our team, your job will be to continue this exceptional care. This includes:

· exercising dogs for minimum periods of up to 4 hours

· feeding, watering, or administering medications to animals according to client requests

· transporting dogs to and from their homes to different daycare facilities; comfortable driving, parking and maneuvering within busy City streets

· ability to exercise caution and to ensure safety when loading or unloading dogs from shuttle van

· providing concierge services, including pick up or drop off for vet or grooming appointments

Requirements for this position include:

· minimum 2-3 years experience in handling animals, in particular, dogs of different breeds

· a valid BC driver's license and 3 year clean driving record

· high school diploma plus minimum 3 years previous work experience

· ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays





· positive communication skills and service orientation with the ability to meet client expectations and achieve consistent client satisfaction
