Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Donut Production Assistant to join our team. This weekend (with possibility of week day extension) role involves assisting in the preparation, decoration, and packaging of delicious donuts in a quick-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and food safety.

They must also be reliable, possess a high level of attention to detail and be a quick learner. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in cooking, decorating, and food handling within the vibrant food industry.

Duties

- Assist in preparing donut batter and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
- Decorate donuts with icing, sprinkles, and other toppings
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently for baking and frying processes
- Package finished products carefully to maintain quality and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and adhere to food safety regulations




- Support the team in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide friendly customer service when interacting with customers

Requirements

- Previous experience in food preparation, baking, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Skills in food presentation are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards
