Role Description The Driver Recruitment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodstock, NB. This position is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring drivers to support Cooke Inc.’s transportation and logistics operations. Day-to-day tasks include posting job ads, managing applicant tracking systems, conducting interviews, coordinating driver assessments, and ensuring that candidates meet regulatory and company standards.

The Specialist collaborates closely with operations, HR, and safety teams to understand staffing needs, improve recruitment processes, and enhance driver retention. The role also involves maintaining recruitment metrics, building relationships with community partners and training institutions,



and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in end-to-end recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Candidates should possess skills in building relationships with drivers, internal stakeholders, and external partners such as schools and community organizations.
- Candidates should possess skills in organization and time management to handle multiple requisitions, track metrics, and meet hiring deadlines.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication, including clear written job postings and professional verbal interactions with candidates and teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in using HR or applicant tracking systems and common office software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace).
- Previous experience recruiting drivers or in transportation, logistics, or trucking industries is an asset.
- Knowledge of relevant driving qualifications, licensing requirements, and safety standards is beneficial.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Woodstock, NB, and occasionally travel to job fairs, training centers, or other recruitment events.
