Overview

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Drywall Carrier/Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our construction and distribution operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling drywall materials, operating heavy equipment, and supporting the seamless flow of goods within our warehouse. Your proactive approach will ensure safe, accurate, and timely loading, unloading, and movement of drywall products to meet project deadlines and customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Load and unload drywall materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts
- Safely transport drywall sheets and related supplies throughout the warehouse and construction sites
- Operate order pickers to efficiently retrieve items from storage areas for shipping or project needs
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, inspecting goods, and documenting inventory movements
- Maintain accurate records within the warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory levels and movement
- Support warehouse organization by stacking, storing, and securing drywall products to prevent damage or accidents




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order picking, loading, and delivery schedules are met while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or construction environments is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining proper technique
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with load & unload operations
- Construction experience is a plus for understanding drywall handling and site safety standards
- Valid certification for forklift operation or crane use is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency
