We are looking for an experienced Drywall Mudder / Taper to join our team in Calgary. This position is for someone who knows the trade, works efficiently, and can consistently produce smooth, high-quality finishes that are ready for paint.

We offer $30–$35 per hour based on experience and skill level, with tools and transportation provided.

What You'll Be Doing
- Applying drywall compound to joints, seams, corners, screws, and fasteners
- Installing and finishing drywall tape
- Applying multiple coats of compound to achieve a smooth, professional finish
- Finishing inside and outside corners
- Installing and finishing corner bead as required
- Feathering and blending compound for seamless transitions
- Sanding and preparing finished surfaces for primer and paint
- Identifying and correcting imperfections in drywall surfaces
- Completing touch-ups and repairs when required
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas
- Working efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Following company and job-site safety requirements




- Working independently and as part of a construction crew

What We're Looking For This is not an entry-level position. A minimum of 2 years of qualified drywall mudding/taping experience is required.

The right candidate will

- Have 2+ years of professional drywall mudding, taping, and finishing experience
- Be confident completing jobs from initial tape through to a paint-ready finish
- Have strong knowledge of drywall compounds, tapes, corner beads, and finishing techniques
- Be able to produce smooth, clean, consistent finishes
- Understand proper drying, recoating, feathering, and sanding techniques
- Have a strong eye for imperfections and attention to detail
- Work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Be reliable, punctual, and ready to work
- Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Work well alongside other trades and crew members
- Be physically capable of performing drywall finishing work throughout the workday
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada on an ongoing basis

We're Looking for Skilled Finishers We aren't looking for someone who is just learning the trade. We need an experienced mudder who knows what a properly finished wall should look like and takes pride in getting it there.
