We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused DZ Driver to transport, deliver, and retrieve scissor lifts and other aerial work platform equipment using a tilt and load truck. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition while providing exceptional customer service at job sites throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Transport and deliver scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other equipment to customer job sites using a tilt and load truck.
- Perform secure loading, securing, transportation, unloading, and pickup of equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections in accordance with MTO and company requirements.
- Complete delivery documentation, driver logs, inspection reports, and electronic records accurately.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported in compliance with provincial regulations and company policies.
- Inspect equipment upon delivery and pickup for damage and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of company vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, and service personnel.
- Assist with yard organization, equipment preparation, and general operational duties as needed.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and actively promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications





- Valid Ontario DZ driver's licence with a clean driving abstract.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Experience operating a tilt and load truck or similar equipment transport vehicle is an asset.
- Knowledge of load securement requirements and transportation regulations.
- Familiarity with scissor lifts, aerial work platforms, or construction equipment is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate equipment for loading and unloading purposes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment inspection skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to climb on and off equipment and truck decks safely.
- Able to perform repetitive physical tasks including securing loads with chains and straps.

Safety Requirements

- Maintain compliance with all Ministry of Transportation regulations.
- Follow company policies regarding vehicle operation, load securement, and equipment handling.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing duties.
- Immediately report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in equipment rental, construction, or industrial service industries.
- Forklift certification.
- Working at Heights certification.
- Knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions.
