Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for children.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists to support each child's unique needs.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behavioral observations.
- Assist in classroom management and ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times.




- Use computer skills to document daily reports, update educational materials, and communicate with families digitally.

Experience

- Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse communities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Demonstrated organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation efficiently.
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, patience, and positive behavior management.
