Assignment:

- Part-time 0.50 FTE Temporary replacement Educational Assistant position

- Supporting and assisting students with complex needs within Elementary and Junior High School

- Daily from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

- Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue until January 28, 2027

Qualifications and/or Assets:

- Experience working with students with complex needs

- Knowledge of speech, behavior modification strategies, and play based learning would be considered an asset

- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Robust interpersonal skills and a positive personality

- Calm and patient approach to solving problems

- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment

- Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment

- Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
