The Chinook School Division requires a permanent part-time (0.917 FTE) educational assistant for É cole Centennial School beginning September 1, 2026. École Centennial School is a pre-K to Grade 8 school with approximately 520 students and 33 teachers.

Desired Qualifications

- Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
- Ability and experience in working with children one-on-one and in a classroom setting
- Physical ability to work with active students
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills,



and an ability to work in a team environment
- A positive and flexible attitude to change
- Ability to communicate in French
- Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation
- Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion

Duties (may Include But Are Not Limited To)

- Assisting with a student's educational program
- Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced student-centered setting
- Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
- Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills
- Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan
- May involve some lifts and transfers
- Other duties as assigned
