We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician 309A and apprentices to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, and lighting controls.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems during renovation projects to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques; perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Install different types of conduits,



including EMT and rigid PVC.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an electrician in commercial environments with a robust understanding of schematics and blueprints.
- Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret electrical schematics.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, and power tools.
- Strong background in construction projects, renovations, or handyman tasks involving electrical work.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices for working with high-voltage systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently using schematic diagrams and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent manual dexterity with hand tools; physical stamina for working in various environments is essential.
- Basic hand tools and basic power tools required.
- Safety trainings including valid: working at heights, WHMIS and Ontario 4 steps.
