This role is ideal for an experienced emergency management professional with a background in oil & gas, pipelines, petrochemicals, HAZMAT, rail, or industrial operations. You will support the implementation of emergency preparedness, incident response, business continuity, and regulatory compliance programs while coordinating emergency response exercises and supporting Incident Management Teams.

- Location: Lloydminster, SK
- Shift: Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week | On-Call: Required as needed | Travel: Required throughout North America (expenses covered)
- Job type: Temporary 12-month | Full-time

Responsibilities:

- Support the implementation of the corporate Emergency Management Program
- Maintain and update Emergency Response Plans, response tools, and exercise schedules
- Coordinate and facilitate emergency response drills, tabletop exercises, and full-scale simulations
- Support Incident Management Teams (IMTs) and emergency preparedness initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate emergency management requirements
- Develop and maintain mutual aid agreements and external partnerships
- Support business continuity planning and emergency response readiness
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and community emergency responders
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and program enhancements
- Participate in emergency response activities when required

Qualifications and Skills:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary education in Emergency Management, Safety,



Environmental Studies, or a related field considered an asset
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- ICS 100, 200, and 300 certifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing or supporting Emergency Response Plans and exercises
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an active member of an Incident Management Team
- Minimum 5 years of combined experience in oil & gas, pipelines, petrochemicals, HAZMAT transportation, rail, or other industrial environments
- Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements
- Current H2S Alive, First Aid, and WHMIS certifications
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Incident Command Systems (ICS)
- Experience facilitating emergency response exercises and training sessions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable presenting to groups and leading emergency preparedness initiatives
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
